SFVBC swapmeet this Wed

Who's going to the SFVBC swapmeet this Wed night? I plan on being there, and as a shameless plug, want to mention that I'm unloading a few things I don't use anymore like some saddles (SLR Gel Flow, Bianchi Body fit), a set of Veloce 9/10 wheels that need rims, maybe some other things I left at my parents' house when I moved out. Anybody else selling? I can't help pass up a good deal sometimes.

Yes, everyone is encouraged to bring as much junk...I mean valuable bike stuff as they can. It's just a casual, social way to give and get good deals. Try to get there at 7ish. I'm not sure but I might go. Sometimes some of us go out to eat first.

Yes, P.M. I'm not sure but I think they have to be out of that room by 9:00. The meetings are pretty short, but there are usually free snacks. There's a meeting every month with the swap meet in December. The rest of the meetings feature maintenance clinics and guest speakers.

Sure, I'll bring the cassette. If you decide you can't make it, let me know and I can run it out to you earlier this week. I'm sick and on vacation, so I've got nothing better to do anyway. Just a cold really, should I try to ride it out?

I'll be there. I've got three old lugged steel framesets and forks and a bag full of small parts (Campy and Shimano) to bring along.

Hi John.....I'm seriously thinking about going as I have several items I'd like to get rid of, mostly some touring equipment I no longer use...

You never know about the buyers, sometimes people buy a lot, sometimes not. I wouldn't expect a huge turnout, but someone might know someone who needs something you have. It's fun, anyway.

Where are you located? The San Diego Velodrome has a large swapmeet at least twice a year I believe, and does anyody know if the Manhattan Grand Prix still has a swapmeet? Cycleart used to host one as well, but I'm not sure if they still do.

Oh, I have an idea where abouts that could be. When you live in bfe, you can't complain about how far you have to drive to get anywhere.
