I'm pretty neurotic and either take it in or park where I can watch it. Although, I did leave it in the hands of the valet guy at Rockbottom Brewery last Saturday night. And we found out that the valet guy was in the restaurant when he swore he'd keep an eye on it! I'll never do that again. Once it's stolen, it's gone, and my Dad bought that bike for me. So, I say, no, never leave it with a stranger.

Was this in La Jolla? If so, I'll let them know that their leaving the bike unattended when they promised otherwise was completely unacceptable. I'm there more than often enough, so they'll listen.

It was. We assumed you already had them trained.

Oh, and I'll be sure to voice a complaint (verbally and in writing) soon.

So a CWI in the making? I'll make sure to watch out when I drive around there.

It was in La Jolla! The guy was really sweet, though. Once George found him in the restaurant and said something, he was right back out watching the bikes, but in the time that he left them, they could have been stolen!

Oh good Lord. Who does that?! Wait...there is that ride in Mexico every year, the one I avoid like the plague!

So how many bikes was he supposed to have been watching over? Not that it really matters since the principle is the same regardless (and each individual customer only is valeting one bike) but so that I can let them know how many of my friends were directly impacted.

I'm in the Disneyland (tourist) area and have had several of mine stolen in the past 45 years but it's pretty unlikely that it will happen again being that there are so many of them...but I still play it safe when I feel the need.

Here is the one I'm feeling like getting in the next 3 years.
