Anybody know Cyclingdude? Met 2day on SART

https://www.cyclingdude.com/

I was riding on SART tody with Gina, Ana, and Sonny. I was about to pass some dude, so I called out,"onyerleft,4 of us,thankyou!". As We went by, the Dude yelled out," Thank you very much! You are the only person today considerate enough to call out."

I told Gina to take control and carry on with the troops. I dropped back and talked with the guy. I mentioned how funny it was that so many people on forums complain about the riders that don't give a courtesy shout, but yet I haven't had anyone within the last couple of months call out as they passed us. I bet a few of them are forum members too!

He told me about his blog site. Mentioned that he blogs about Backbay rides. Not really sure what a Backbay ride is, but he was pretty happy about it!

He said nice things to me so I thought I'd check out his site!

I used to call it out when I could pace along fast enough to pass someone, lately I have been the one getting passed. Only about 10% give a shout out when they pass. I had a fast pack pass me on the SGRT and shout out "keep to the right".

Yup, that was me/us! Thought we've seen her more than once, alone the last few weeks. But not sure. Maybe she has a twin! Thought that maybe it was the only way she could get in some hard riding for the PS ride, while you sat at home with the son.

This last time, I'm was sure that was her so I called out. I think she wa suprised cause all I heard was a faint,"hey!".

I can't believe you never road the back bay Beans ! It's a short ride in Newports backbay about 4 or 5 miles from your stop at the beach. Its very purty back there with waterfowl and marshes and steep cliffs with trillion dollar homes on them. I am certain Gina would get a kick out of it. the backbay ride itself is very bicyle friendly, unfortunately the 3 miles or so through Newport is not. On street parking and no bike lane makes it an adventure to say the least. But if you ever want to ride it as an add on to the SRT some weekend let me know. For a slight extra charge about a mile after the back bay I'll take you to where I was hit by the $25,000.00 golf ball !

Sounds great but I'm not sure Gina can do your 30mph pace the whole way!

But I might be interested in a golf ball of my own!
