Hi there, Trac', Bernmart, Efficiency, etc., etc. Indolent, were you one of the guys at dinner? I lost track of some of those names. It was the heat not the pint-size jelly jar of a Cosmo that made me forget, I swear. Nice to meet yawl at dinner and glad the worst century of my life is over. I can't believe how long it took me to ride 87 miles.

Indolent58 sat across from you... he was the one with the beautiful blond wife ... and his name is Dan...

I'm gonna have to try one of those Cosmos soon... I can see they are going to be an excellent excuse for me to be silly!

Glad you made it through safe and sound! I look forward to tagging along with the NorCal peeps on a ride soon!

Whoo-boy. Both my father and brother are named Dan. Wonder how I couldn't remember that? I do remember them though. Trac', how about a tagalong on 5/19?

I did actually think about that... what time are you all starting? I was planning on the Lodi Sunrise since I'm trying to build my base up, and its closer; however, I might decide to go your direction

It is weird, isn't it, that none of us at that dinner (which was so terrific), so much as took a cell phone photo? Could it have been that we were. . .tired? Nah!

I think it is completely and totally unacceptable that there were no pics taken with so many BF friends there.

Ok ok.... I'll let it slide this time, considering the heat probably had you all in a daze. But that's it.... no more excuses!!!!

Well, you were all the way at the other side of a rather large table. I supposed we could have passed notes like we were in elementary school. Of course if we got caught, we would be forced to read them out loud.

I hate to admit it but I had my camera in my purse. If it's green and cool next year, we can try again . . . but prior to the jelly jar drink.

It's probably easier to track a rider cresting a hill when they're slow. If they took the pictures at a fast section they'd have a hard time, especially for those riding in a paceline, to get pictures of each rider, and they'd have less time per rider to snap a good shot.
