Play on the Freeway! Saturday June 23rd

Have any of you head of this event?

www.playonthe210.org

They're opening up the final stretch of the 210 out in Rialto as a community event, which includes 5k and 10k runs/walks, plus 5 and 10 mile bike rides, with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society and Boys and Girls club of Rialto and San Bernardino.

Might be fun biking on the freeway.

Any of you planning on going?

Too far for me, but sounds intriguing. I noticed the rides are "fun" rides. I suppose that means no time trialing... that would be cool on a freeway.

This would be fun but the distance is so short...I'd be driving 90 minutes for a 35 minute bike ride!

Try I-5 between Las Pulgas and Oceanside. You get to draft off the cars too!

I will probably go because it is about 10 miles from my house - ride to the start, ride 10 miles, then 10 back home
