I've wanted to climb Big Pines Hwy for years. Kinda far to drive though. We went past it on the way to Wrightwood a few times this year from Red Box. I also like Mt Gleason but do it from the other side. Up Big T to Angeles Forest. The dirt was rideable the times we did it this year. I'm thinking of watching the Tour of Cal from up there. My most favorite So Cal climb is up hwy 39 to A.C. and on up to Dawson Saddle,36 miles 7k. That's a beautiful place.
