recycling old bikes in San Diego
Hey all
Does anyone know of somewhere in the San Diego county area that takes old bikes and fixes them up for donation or for use in other community programs? I've found a few places in other cities, but was hoping I could drop off my old mountain bike somewhere local.
Cheers!

Give Adams Avenue Bike Shop a call (619) 295-8500...they're pretty much dialed into the used market, I think. They may have a lead or two for you.
You could always give it up to Goodwill or Salvation Army, unless it's really messed up.
Otherwise, lean it against a meter downtown with a "Free" sign on it...
