I tried. Guess you can't entice folks to talk when they don't have much to say.

Anyway, how's training going? I've got 220 miles since Thursday.

Alright, I'm encouraging you to talk. Care to expand on the 220 miles? At least what color shorts you wore, please.

The shorts were black on three of the four days. The fourth day I was wearing the team kit on a club ride. Two flat rides and two climby rides. I estimate that I've been dropped close to 10 times in the past week, but only on climbs. Trying to keep the intensity down a bit, so when big accelerations go, I just let them go.

Speaking of team kits, here's our new one for '09. Designed by yours truly!

nice kits....i'd hit it....well, i already have so there ya go.

training on my end has sucked...last month was over 600 miles...this month..i got about 110 in...80 of which was yesterday with like 6k of climbing. basically i suck and i better become a smart racer as i don't think i will ever be a strong racer!

Nice job on the kit Jason, that's a big improvement on the previous years.

Training is starting to ramp up for me, with the exception of having a cold and taking a week off. This morning was 6 times up the PCH side of Newport Coast with a couple of really hard efforts. I'm thinking of trying to make down your way on the Friday the 2nd, let me know if you're good to ride that day and I'll PM you to sort it out.

Black, red and white are my bike colors, so therefore I like the new kit.
Too bad you don't live near me, cuz I don't do intensity for the most part, so I wouldn't drop you.

Thanks. The lines of the jersey are very similar. They initially wanted to go with the same colors, but I gave them a few different options and they really liked red. The shorts are a total redesign.
Here's what we had originally agreed on, but once we found out another team in the area would be using the same blue we currently have, we decided to go a different direction.

Definitely in for the 2nd. Should have a few strong riders who can join as well.

Haha, thanks. You should join the club and get a jersey! We have several members in the LA area.

Hi,

I like your new design a lot --great job!

Here's our new kit for reference;

It looks better in person than the proofs depict. Less pink than in prior years and the design came from one of the women in our club.

Since we're throwing signs or whatnot, here's ours:

Of course I use the term "ours" loosely.

Those both look good. The Sho-Air kit looks like what their MTB team was wearing last year.
