I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream

Come on, there's so many problems out there today, come and relax, have fun on the little Ice Cream Ride!

I wanna meet some of you guys...

Maybe it will end up being twelve vicious miles of screaming headwinds...

We were out on SART today. Geez it was blowing hard! At times we were riding at 13 then a gust would slow us down to 6. Cut it short cause the wind kept blowing Gina around, most of the time into me.

I was thinking about the poor lil kids no the ice cream ride (if it's anything like this)!

How did it go out there?

No wind at all...it was a perfect very warm So Cal fall day...maybe 75 riders all shapes ages and sizes. I brought my 17 year old daughter with me and we picked up a 13 year old boy along the way...just joined in (he asked first and I promised him some ice cream at the end if he made it.). We missed a turn off so went about 15 miles. And yeah...I admit I don't even feel it in the legs but so what? It was a blast!

Tonight we do this movie night at the Bike Oven...

Glad you all had a fun ride!
I'm getting off of work here in a few minutes and I'll be stopping at Scoops (now that I know exactly where its at) on my way home.

What time were you guys on SART? I rode the Amtrak up to Anaheim Stadium today, caught SART at 8:02, PCH and some hellacious winds back down to Carlsbad. Took nearly 5 hours to ride 83 miles, but those crosswinds through Pendleton were howling.

Black Felt; black nicker-bibs, advertisement-free burgundy jersey, '80's Oakley Razorblades and forehead planted on stem... ?

We were there 9:30 thru 12:00'ish. Winds at end of ride were far stronger than when we sarted at 9:30. Southbound we stopped at the Honda Center, wasn't blowing too hard. On the return, we had to stand over the bikes so they wouldn't fall, err, so WE wouldn't fall!...All while getting sandlblasted!
