What's the name of it? Is it Lake Casitas Snack Bar? I don't remember seeing one, and I just looked on google maps, and the only thing I saw was Lake Casitas Snack Bar, just before the left on 150.

That sounds like the right name. Google doesn't seem to place it properly, it is inside the Lake Casitas Recreation Area, not right on Santa Ana. Its address is probably on Santa Ana though.

It sounds like fun. I'm gonna have to see how much time I have to train before then. Got lots of family events and a wedding to plan.

yeah..somehow I knew after I posted that it was gonna come back at me....
I would go..but there is no 10pm train...cause thats what I would need...
However...there is a slight chance I will be riding from Ventura up thru Casitas, and try to meet up with you....

Great, Ovo! I hope you join! Sure, you can stay in SB. You might even get lucky with one of the hot chicas and learn about the birds and the bees. I'm all for educational experiences on my rides.

Thanks! I'll fix it. But basically, its the Saturday night, 6:00 or 7:00pm train. My intent is to get us there in time for dinner before boarding. But, as I mentioned, we will not be doing a death march (hammerfest to the end). If we get to Carpenteria and see that daylight is dwindling, we will take the train back from there. This is something everyone should be okay with if you are doing this ride.

Okay, fixed the link. The two trains out are 6:17pm and 6:58pm (last one for the evening). Fare is $19.00 and everyone please remember to bring your IDs to board the train.
Last but not least, there is always a risk with this type of ride that we could be prohibited from boarding with bikes. Therefore, if you sign up for this and that happens, be prepared to either get your own hotel room, or be willing to share one with others. This is highly unlikely but a possibility nonetheless and I wouldn't want anyone angry should this occur.
