Get out there while the weather's good!
The forecast calls for 70's today, slightly lower temps tomorrow, and rain over the weekend. I'll be taking a hike with my wife since this is her last day off and doing a nice long ride tomorrow before the wetness kicks in.
|
I'm going to try... Will probably visit the LBS today and hopefully bike commute tomorrow.
|
Indeed. I just got back from a short Griffith Park loop, and it is glorious. I might have to dust off the mtb if it really does rain for the next 5 days.

Hiked Monrovia Canyon with the wife and dog. Beautiful. Makes me want to explore the roads around there soon.
Anybody have tomorrow off and want to do a longish morning ride before the rain sets in? I plan on riding even if it starts raining (HTFU). |
They're saying rain late tomorrow...
|
Yeah, but it's LA rain. It never rains.
I will ride tomorrow night if it's not raining. |
the weather is good all year round, 50-60F in the winter? wow you guys are pansies

Okay this was a little ambitious. Left at 5:45 am and got there at 8:00 pm. Weather was terrible. Headwinds. Climbing Torrey Pines(every god damn street was Torrey Pines) in pitch dark was fantastic. My legs are toast. 178miles. All u suckas that say I can't ride more than 8miles... |

Hence Ovoleg =/= pansy rest of bike forums = pansy Using =/= equates to something akin to "is absolute," which is most often written as: == Using the slash between them does not make any sense, but if it were to be interpreted in a way which follows shorthand methods, it would be similar to "is absolute." FYI. Know your logic shorthand, bud. |

ovoleg, "is not equal to" or "does not equal" is written like this: !=

Ahhh the good old days when a slash through an equals sign meant "not equals". I think that is what Oleg was drawing. Let me help ≠

Don't worry ovoleg... I'm a self proclaimed pansy. :D
On a side note, i didn't visit the LBS. Had to do some work on my car before it got dark... Tomorrow though there's a chance i will. :) |
Ovo, I plan on riding rain or shine this Sat. You're welcome to join me, but it will be more than 8 miles.
Oh, and my morning commute usually starts around 40 degrees. 50-60 is for the pansies who wait for sunrise to ride. |
