I checked running, although I'm only coming off of day 3. Legs are hurting today, I pushed pretty hard yesterday. My route starts with a nice uphill and finishes with a nice uphill with a long downhill middle.

Weight training is back on the list now that my apartment has added a little fitness room, so it's uber-convenient.

I'll add the swimming later this year when I start prepping for the Fall triathlon.

I checked none; although I would like to start running (got the shoes, just too lazy), and one of my 2008 resolution is learn how to swim.

I barely have enough cycling, let alone more time to add additional activities.

I like rowing (Concept2), and it's a great complement to biking, but I am too focused on biking to incorporate it as a regular routine. I really only use it when we have stretches of rain.

I dance, which is not up there. I like the new house my family moved into because we have lovely wood floors I can do pointe on. I also swim--used to do it competitively in HS, with moderate success. My specialty: the breaststroke

A new acquaintance told me to get into running, since I already cycle and swim, so that I could join triathlons with her. I'm like nooooo, I hate running. It might be excellent exercise, but it makes my feet hurt. I should get into weight training though--the only weights I do on a regular basis are my 10-20lb bags, and that's not enough lifting at all.

I run on occasion, lift weights regularly, hit the ol' punchin bag, and have a skateboard I used to be obsessed with that I now ride only compulsorily. oops, I didn't check yoga-which I do on my own sometimes but haven't been to a class in five years.

It's now all about cycling. A few months ago, before I tore a hamstring, it was also about running.

I dislike running. I used to be a decent runner when I was wrestling in high school, but I won't do it again by choice. I used to play pick-up basketball too, but it's been at least a year.

I swim 2x a week; first workout about a mile with the second slightly shorter. Both days also do hamstring, inner thigh and hip machines plus abs. Treadmill once a week plus abs. Get out for surfin' when I can. Bike probably averages about 65 miles per week, with summer sessions closer to 90 and winter...well, you know. I'm adding one indoor trainer workout every week or so with Coach Troy.

Run with Snail's Pace running club. They are truly a great club. I would encourage anybody wanting to run to use Snail's Pace as a resource, especially in the OC. Also, use a Nordic Track skiing machine to get me prepped for that long Nordic ski season we have in SoCal.

Any recommendations for swimming in the Glendale area? I was looking at 24 hour fitness since it's going to be between home and work when my office moves.

Anyone know of any better options?
