To Pho or not to Pho? Earn Your Noodles Ride, Saturday, 3/8

Il Bruto and I are going to ride for PHO (pronounced FOE because that's how I say it) on Saturday, 3/8. I don't have all the details but here is what I know:

Route: Alhambra to La Tuna, climb and back
Meet: 8:00am Alhambra Park (500 N. Palm Ave., Alhambra - northwest corner)
Depart: 8:15am
Tempo: Guitar
Miles: Approx. 30
Elevation gain: TBD, but expect climbing, rollers and full climb up La Tuna
Stops: At least one just prior to La Tuna for a refueling
Lunch: Noodle Planet located at 700 W. Valley Blvd, Alhambra, CA 91803-3231.

Route slip: Will be passed out at the ride start

This is a NO DROP ride. I will be going at a more relaxed pace on the climbs, so if anyone has wanted to come on out for a climbing ride that isn't too much distance but feared being dropped, you will not be. We will also, as usual, regroup. But anyone who wants to climb with me, is welcome to and I ain't fast.

Come on out and earn your noodles!

To Pho:
Il bruto
Merider1
Tombunn
Robncircus

Or not to Pho:
Umney Durak
Go_Fast
IamTim (to BD instead)

I thought we agreed to use my version of the CYA disclaimer:

Disclaimer: Ride at your own risk. Cycling carries a significant risk of personal injury, death, STDs, gout, painful anal warts, spontaneous human combustion, locusts, and acne. In fact ALL of those things are quite likely to happen around us. DO NOT participate in this ride unless are knowledgeable about the risks involved, and are willing to assume personal responsibility for all risks associated with these activities. If you had any idea what we are like you would stay in your safe room with the door locked. BikeForums and ride organizers cannot and will not be responsible for any damages, bodily injury or humiliation caused to any rider or their bicycle for any reason, especially if we are in "one of those moods". If you don't watch you back "stuff" will almost certainly happen. Please observe all applicable traffic laws, wear a helmet and conduct yourself in a safe and prudent manner while participating.

No, and I don't play one on TV either. I put the disclaimer in because a member raised the issue and another member (and friend) did some research. I then talked to a lawyer - hence the disclaimer.

I am inviting you on a ride on which you ride at your own risk. With that said, you are more than welcome to join, TIP!

Oh, I LOVE Lemongrass, but not the Pho...those shrimp steamed spring rolls with the peanut sauce. OMG, they are so yummy! I also really like the waitresses there. Such nice gals. I eat there all the time.

Is this the same La Tuna as the one off Glenoaks? I'm just getting back into the swing of things after 6 weeks off so maybe it will be a good re-entry ride.
