So i bought this yesterday....
https://www.performancebike.com/shop/...tegory_ID=5210
I realize it's not the exact same as the Fizik Airone which i wanted to try..
https://www.performancebike.com/shop/...tegory_ID=5210
but its 100 bucks cheaper and so far it's the best saddle i have planted my butt on including a Selle SLR, specialized Toupe (143 and 138) and a Sella Trans Am.
i've only got about 35 miles on it but just wanted to say if your looking for a cheap what seems to be good saddle check it out if your not a weight weenie or too cool to sport a knock-off.
That is all.

Hmmm interesting find. They do look similiar. My current saddle is a Selle SLK, which came out of the box with little break in period. It's okay, nothing great, though. If you get a chance, let us know how this new one is doing with a few more miles.

i also have a selle slk and it is hard as a rock. i was actually thinking about getting the forte arione knockoff.
edit: now that i think of it... my buddy is selling an arione for $60. i might get on that.

Gets me to thinking, what other Forte products are knock-offs of more expensive popular saddles?

I have the 143 toupe and the airone.
I got the airone first and it felt pretty nice. It's only later on longer rides that I feel some pressure/pain in the center region. At the end of a century, I have 3 pressure points.
Then I got the toupe. It's kind of painful for the first few minutes at first having all the weight on the 2 sit bones. At the end of a century, only the sit bone area hurts, which I think is better than my airone.
