Anyone in West Covina area?

Hello all!

I got my bike over a year ago while living in tucson with a semi-pro cyclist. Since I moved back to CA I've gotten way out of shape and want to start getting back on the bike. Looking for someone (some people) to start riding with again. Monday and wednesday around 4:00 and weekends are best for me.

Thanks!

Alon

Welcome back to CA Alon...
I'm in Chino Hills... just a little east of W Covina... I'm fairly new to these forums myself and have not been able to join any of the rides or meet anyone from these forums yet... I usually have very little time to ride so I just ride right out of my garage and around the Chino Hills area on the weekends...

Hey Alon.
I live in covina. Due to my schedule and kids i only am able to get out on the weekends early. So when i go i get out about 6 and try to get back by 9ish.
I am by no means a pro. in fact i consider myself a beginner.
I have ridden locally around south hills, Bonelli park and turnbull canyon in whittier.
Lately i have seen some trails i wouldnt mind trying. usually ill use google earth to explore then hit them up.
Also i have to admit i do a fair share of pushing up some of these trails. Like i said im still a beginner.
Let me know if your interested.

Welcome!

I see our wonderful Greeter-in-Residence East Hill and the indomitable Extort have already said "Hello"...

Could you be a little more specific, please, about what kind of riding you are interested in doing?

Best
Alice

I'm looking for some beginner riding. 16-17 mph more relaxed and having fun than training. I'm just trying to get back on the bike and start building muscles again. My number is 626-272-6322... you guys can give me a call whenever you go out and we can explore the area.

The longest ride I've done was from azusa down to Huntington. I want to try and join in on Bud's right in bonelli park on wednesday nights, but dont think i'm even ready to try for another few weeks.
