I've previously posted this bike, but I recently built and tested the wheels on it.
My first from-scratch wheelbuild, and I was so relieved that I got the spoke lengths perfect on the first try. (LBS refused to order the Sapim spokes, so I had to go online.)

'86 Schwinn Peloton
Dura Ace 7800 drivetrain
Sante brake calipers
7900 hubs, Velocity Fusion Rims, & Sapim CX-Ray $poke$

She rides like a dream and I've been avoiding getting a second bottle cage, because she's threatening to dethrone my Felt as my primary rider. It's a glorious feeling to ride down the road knowing I built this bike (including the wheels) from nothing but parts. Only the Chris King headset was installed by my LBS.

And the Spy-vs-Spy shot...

Here's after:

I'm not any faster but going from analog to digital is sweet so far.

'll bet it starts with an H, ends with a Y and is sold in giant stores that start with a W.
