Back on the bike.

Hi everyone, I moved to LA (Redondo Beach ) about 18 months ago from NY, was fairly active in cycling when I was in NY, but because of work, and other issues, didn't get to ride until last sat. Felt good to be back on the bike, just hard being so out of shape. I have to log some miles over the next few weeks to get some improvement in my fitness. Then I'll prob be joining some of the group rides. (since I see them go by every weekend). Just wanted to introduce myself to the area.

getting back on the bike will only suck for the first few times. Pending your muscle memory you should be back to speed soon. Keep riding and have fun!

Where in Redondo? Don't mean to pry, but the 'seeing the group rides' comment means you're probably somewhere on Catalina (I'm right off Catalina and Diamond).

I think I watch everyone and their mother go by on Saturday and Sunday.
