How Many Consistent Miles To Date?

Yes I cross posted it in another forum (Clydes) only cause it's such a dern good thread!:D

How many miles have you done CONSISTENTLY? This time, without a long layoff, being consistent. No not since you were 10 years old then picked it up 20 years later. I mean This time, consistently?..Maybe a monht off at the most. My biggest lay off was prolly one week.

I started riding at 32 y/o, did 2,000 miles the first 2 or 3 years. Then 4,000 every year since then with 1 7,000 mile year. I figure my grand total this time being consistent is app 53,000 miles.

13 years of consistent riding!

Been riding since Sept. 06, averaging 500-600 miles/month since. Love it, and hope to still be doing it 13 years from now!

Started in February after a 10 year hiatus. Put 500 miles on it since. Starting to ride 100+ miles a week.

Been riding since '68 without any noticeable breaks at all. Oh, a week here and there, but I commuted to classes and work in college, then rode to work at all of my jobs since then, with the exception of the one I have now!

In MO, in the winter, I still commuted to work, even in below zero temps and in the ice and snow.

Might as well face it, I'm addicted to bikes!

Damn, Let me figure this out, I started commuting to work in 1995. I have put in 2 to 3 hundred miles a week for 13 years. Hmmmmmm that would put me around 150,000 miles, give or take

4 miles per weekday plus ~3 miles each week to account for weekly long-distance commutes via train.

Since the beginning of this school year.

19 years, never more than a week off, and not very often at that.

Beats me how many miles.

I couldn't guess. Most of my rides over the years have been fairly short and I just got an odometer on one of the bikes about five years ago...

I picked up a used bike off Craigslist last August... and then in December bought a Felt F4C. I have almost 2500 miles since January, and am ramping up the mileage... I have 230 for this week alone. Last month I had 600 which I am going to CRUSH in June. I hope that I can do this forever... I have lost 65lbs in the last year, and am about to be an EX-Clydesdale.. (201 this AM)

No clue on actual miles. I kept track in '85, that I remember (over 13,000 miles), and in 2006 (a bit over 7,000 miles), but I'm not usually keeping track of the miles I ride. Just lots of commute miles, lots of training miles and lots of "event" miles. They're all good!

Mileage aside, the only thing I know for sure is that I've been on a bike at least once a week consistently since I was 5 years old.

That's not evenly divisible by 8

Lol, maybe if he could figure out what size to ride, he'd stop looking at them and start riding

6000 since July. I got a new bike last July and figured I might as well use it to its max.
