I've never done one of these before (group ride).....may I join you wonderful folks?
Also, do we have a map that replicates the route slip for visualizing the ride?

Top of the first page will have the attachment for both the route slip and ride profile. Come on out and enjoy the ride with us.

Ian: You've got some discrepancies at your Rancho Bernardo section....like maybe you added the Dueanda (sic...it's actually Duenda)/Bernardo Center Dr. rest stop is after you go onto the I-15 over Lake Hodges, so you're backtracking.

Maybe it's a stop you forgot to take out. Just FYI...and no, I'm still not going. Still too far for me at the moment.

Still wrong. It's not Duenda it's Duodenum. Scary road - it takes guts to ride it.

Pssh...that's not all! He's got you going to the top of San Elijo, then teleporting back to Rancho Santa Fe to climb up to San Elijo again.

/Swenton...Swenson...Swanson...
//Oh, there's a tag..
///SAMSONITE. I was way off.

Duodenum Rd. is a real pain in the ass.

Alright, I think I got it fixed... I'll pre-ride the route this weekend weather permitting to get actual miles to the markers.

Does that mean you'll preview the teleporting thing? Cool.

Still in. Don't care about street names, backtracking or dangerous roads. I'm concentrating my worries on what jersey to wear.

Coming from the north, Del Dios is mostly downhill, with nice bike lane. And with Grumpy Pig riding shotgun, no one's gonna mess with us.

Bring a camera. We'll just need to figure where to take pics.

Someone has to ask the most important question:

Will there be pizza after the ride?

Of course there will be as Pizza Port across from the train station is more than happy to take your money in exchange for a pizza.

Does anyone here like Cliff Shot blocks? I got some in the goody bag for my race today. I don't like them, but will bring the to the ride on the 8th if someone wants them.

I do. I bought a box of them yesterday for $24.

I also need new tires. They didn't have any Continentals in the bag, did they?
