I was in Escondido at the finish line with the long sleeve on... Had to tell Lance and Ivan to look for me in the same jersey when I get to Paris in July...

I know it sucks, but this is my Lance and Levi shot as they were exiting the parking lot heading to the start.

They were directly upstairs from me when I was at Paso Robles ... but that's as close as I could get with them.

I enjoyed all the linked pics! Great adventure on Palomar Jeff! I had some fun at the end of stage 7 and posted some pics in the race folder.

Ditto. I had a great time at the start. Except for a handful of preeminent riders, most were totally accessible during their warm up right before the start. No security and no pretense. I saw many signing autographs, posing for photos, and just chatting with spectators, being very approachable.
