In your mind, you're just enjoying a ride and some idiot is acting weird. In their mind, it's the last few km of the Tour de France and you're their toughest competitor.

They draft you no matter how fast/slow you ride? Even if you vary your speed? Pretty creepy if you ask me...esp if they don't acknowledge or talk to you. I usually stay a couple of 'car' lengths behind if going in the same direction or just pass them if they are going a bit too slow, but people have different tolerance levels to what is too close and what constitutes drafting or proper biking etiquette.

I just got back from riding on my cruiser bike wearing orange vest. Met lots of roadies, a number of whom waved, and the cute gal at the back of one group even said "Hi!". It's just that Fonzie touch that does it.

What I mean is that I've had people ignore me too before -- and then I saw they couldn't hear with earphones blasting music in their ears (so, not my fault). Maybe you had the same situation.
