SART at Yorba Linda>

Can anyone explain how to get onto the S/B SART at Yorba Linda. I'm looking at Google Earth and it appears that you can't get on from the main road as it crosses over. Also, am I correct that everyone rides on the East side of the river both toward the ocean and back? I'm coming from Diamond bar and I see that I can easily get on at Kraemer or one of those streets further west, but I need as much mileage as I can get so I thought I'd get on as far east as possible.

SART switches sides several times as it goes along, but both directions ride on the same side. IIRC, every street that crosses the river has a ramp into SART. What street are you trying to use?

Just finished the SART this afternoon. As a newbie, I think I'd quite well with my wife on two folders!
We parked at Yorba Linda Park, and follow the sign west, pass the 1st bridge, Thru Valley View, Tustin, Kraemer and downward to Taft/Ball, Katella and eventually cross side and back, then all the way to HB.
Weather was really nice going toward the beach this afternoon. Dispite all thsoe cramps I had coming back to Yorba Linda, it was well worth it!

Across La Palma from the Honda dealer (at the corner of Yorba Linda and La Palma) the trail comes up from the river side and goes along the sidewalk for 1/2 mile or so. There's your entrance spot.

In an earlier post you mention that you would ride your bike to the trail. Just to clarify, are you riding to the trail?

If by car, you can drive even further on LaPalma to Gypsum Cyn. There is an ice skating facility there. Ice skating Palace (?). I cafe type joint and a taco shop. From there it is 26 miles to the coast, 52 roundtrip. Parkinglot is on the North side of Lapalma and the trail on the southside of the road. That's thinking Lapalma runs east and west.

If you are talking about riding to the trail, I've only taken Peyton/Carbon Cyn/Kraemer to the trail.

Others take Milliken then thru Corona to the Greenriver trailhead. But I wouldn't know the backstreets.
