Need to replace a stolen front wheel

My friend and I had my front wheels lifted last night in Santa Monica. Along with a few other bike in the area we locked up. Lesson learned lock your front wheel to the frame. ANYWAY, does anyone know a good place in LA to find a reasonably priced wheels for road bikes? I don't want to buy new cause it's an old bike. I'm supper mad cause i had really liked the wheel set that was on my bike. So if anyone has a good idea of where to look it would be greatly appreciated.

What's "old"? What size? What quality?

http://www.armstrongtech.net/_/rsrc/...nn%20Tempo.jpg 87 or 88 Schwinn Tempo. It's a 59 cm I believe. Don't remember the wheel set off hand. It's over at my friend place closer to the beach.

Try the Bike Kitchen in LA... might be able to score a cheap front wheel for a small donation

This isn't my bike, but I do believe that they are mavic wheels, not sure if they are the MA40's. They came with he bike when I bought it. I am going to try the kitchen Thanks.

Just a little idea, for the next time.
Label your wheels as follows: http://www.bikeregistry.com/install.php (see hint #2)

Might be fun trapping some front wheel stealin thieves for a change...;)

people that steal parts are SO annoying. i usually have luck on eBay picking up a random replacement part or two. (i also sell random parts i don't need there) :)
