My current need is to find a good wheel builder In the Los Angeles area to truing my wheels and apply proper tension on spokes. The shops around my area truing my wheel, but with in a hundred miles or so there out of truing and/or loose spokes. I'm 290 pounds and running a set of 36h & another set of 32h.

try Urbanknight on this forum. He's in Pasadena. Built some Tandem wheels for me that seem to be great. Very easy to work with, very reasonable.

I check out wheelbuilder.com website and they are pricey.
Al, Urbanknight took care of truing & tensioning my commuter set, just waiting on my other set to get out of truing so i can have him truing & tension them properly

Thanks
