Spin Classes in Orange County
I am looking to enroll in a North Orange County gym/facility with high-end spin classes and perhaps a focus on triathlon training. I already looked at Triathica in Lake Forest and that sounds right up my alley, but a little too far. Any leads please?

Is it just that the days are getting shorter that has you pointed inside? Because if that's all I can point you to two sessions: one Tues, one Thurs, the first is flat, the second has some climbing , 26-30 miles repeats, roll at 5:30. Airport area and on Portola.

#1 Lack of sunlight. City streets are dangerous as it is, more-so during rush-hour and more-so in the dark. I am just not willing to take chances - all it takes is one tired commuter not paying attention. Thanks for the offer though! #2 Change of pace and motivation. I did a lot of riding this summer/fall, usually by myself. Spin class is a great change, the instructors (good ones) push you to the limit and a good class is fun. So I ended up signing at Golds Gym in HB - so far, so good. Location was my #1 consideration and this fits the bill. In the process I found this article, for those interested. Evolution Cycling sounded most enticing, but its too far of a commute. http://www.ocregister.com/articles/c...ndoor-spinning |

Have fun, I've been a member at that Gold's for seven years and just recently ended my membership. I would have stayed with them forever, but alas, unemployment ended and I found myself needing a gym near work so I can go at lunch, so I'm at 24 Hr Fitness now. |
