ToC SoCal Stages

OK, so all of the stages for the ToC have been posted. (The sprints and KOM are to come later)
For those who haven't seen my posts, I'm hoping/planning to follow the whole tour, camping along in my popup trailer.
I won't be riding the stages like some like to do; but I do plan to try and watch at least some part of every stage. I want to also take in the environment of the beginning and end of at least one stage (not necessarily the same stage).

I'm thinking of camping at Big Bear one night and then head over to TO or so for another night or two.

I think I'll take tranist to the downtown stage so I don't have to hassle with parking etc. I think it's on the blue line and I'd probably take Metrlink or Amtrak or something from farther away.

I'm beginning my own logistics now and my main focus at the moment is camp spots.

Anybody got any ideas in the TO/Westlake area for camping? On or near course would be awesome. Hookups might be nice, but not required.

Check out Malibu Creek State Park. It's got a decent campground in a nice setting.
It's on Las Virgenes Road just south of Mulholland Hwy.

The east end of the course is about 3 or 4 miles west of the campground. Leave your car at the campground and ride west on Mulholland and you'll be on the course.
