Anyone Off Apri 2nd?

I've got that day off and was wondering if anyone is interested in a ride, possibly up Palomar, Cole Grade, etc...

Bummer. I have to work on the day you're going and I got roped into some family-Easter junk on Sunday when Rkat's going.

Can you make it Saturday maybe...?

Did you go? I had a last minute change of plans so I decided to go. I thought I saw your car near the dog park but never saw you. Only saw two other cyclists all day. Weather was almost perfect - a little cool on the descent.

Nah, I did a long ride closer to home. I will be going up this Sunday though.

Clear and quiet. weather was perfect. I was passed by about 8 motorcycles and a half dozen cars on the way up. Not one car or bike on the S. Grade Rd portion of the descent, and only a few on the 76 portion.

Ascended with a l/s baselayer and jersey. Brought a jacket for the descent. The descent was a little uncomfortable which for me means I wore the correct clothing.

Pretty much what I had today, 'cept more motorcycles. And ya, should have brought my light jacket. I had to stop halfway down South Grade and warm up in the sun. I'm out of shape - I suffered bad on Cole Grade.
