Depending on where your at in Anaheim the SART is a great ride either toward the mountains or to the beach. There are more than a few of us BFers that ride the SART on any given day so I'm sure someone might be up for a ride. I don't get going till 8:30ish so if you ride toward the beach I might be able to join you at the beach and head back north.

Post up here what rides you all are going to do. We have a new baby, so chances are very slim I'll be able to get out, but if I can I'll meet up with you heading from Anaheim towards the beach.

I'm thinking meeting at Katella and SART and ride down to PCH and if there is enough time; ride over to Back Bay and back to SART

For a buffet style head south and east on Chapman, it turns into Santiago Canyon then keep on El Toro Rd until it merges with Laguna Cyn Rd.
East on PCH and return on SART (Santa Ana River Trail). That’s a truly magnificent experience, you get to climb, descend, cyn rolling terrain and ride next to some of the most paradisiacal beaches in So Cal.
That’s about 60 miles so estimate at least 3 hrs. I’d love to join but have a typ 8-4:30 M-F job.

Amazing route Spinerguy!! Thanks for the tip.
Don't think I will have time to do that one though.

Thanks for everyones input and sorry I could not connect with any of you. Actually did a nice ride early on the 7th down sart to the ocean and back to hotel. Was about 35 miles at 240 watt average. Was really windy. Getting out to the ocean was a lot easier than the return trip mostly into the wind. It was really interesting though leaving the hotel was probably 60 degrees and feeling like it would warm up. Got 2 miles down the SART and it got much colder. Warmed up on the return ride. That is a great ride to do some intervals on because very few times you really need to slow down for traffic or road conditions. Saw lots of cyclists and walkers. Finished the day with 8 hours at Disneyland with a heavy back pack. Got a great workout that day!!
Let me know if any of you make it up to the bay area. Lots of great riding here, very hilly.
