Vintage bicycle shops/small out of home sellers?
Hello! I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone knew of any vintage bike shops in the los angeles area. I've been trying to find a swiss military bicycle or a bike similar to it. I've found a few places online that have stockpiles of this bicycle but theyre out of state or out of the country. Just curious if anyone knows where I could find one or a bike simliar to it.
Thanks.
Here are some pictures of the swiss bikes:

Thanks.

Have you called over to Flying Pigeon? He stocks mainly Dutch/Chinese bikes but sometimes he might have a different bike in on consignment but one along the same line. Maybe he would keep you in mind. Just an idea...

I was in a military surplus store in Gardena that had an authentic Swiss army bike for sale. Think it was from the 40's. I can do more research if you're interested.

Oh really? If you could that would be greatly appreciated. Been looking for one for quite a bit now. That would be a lot easier than having one shipped to me from another state or country.

Found it! Thanks again to Flying Merkel for the tip. It was there at the military surplus store in Gardena. I didn't have enough for it but since it was missing the front light/generator and the bell cover they let it go for a lower price. It came with a working pump, the tool bag still had all of the original tools needed to take apart and repair the bike, it seems to have original tires, the tubes actually still held air to my surprise, I've been riding it every day. I oiled it up and it rides very smooth. The bike is very heavy though, I would have to say about 50 pounds. I'll be going uphilll at a snails pace but I can still make it haha. I'll be picking up a new generator and bell cover so it will be complete.
