This is the inaugural year of the new Santa Barbara Century bicycle ride. Riders of the Century or the Metric Century ride will experience a beautiful venue of beaches and mountains in Santa Barbara, Carpinteria and Goleta. The Metric Century ride is 62 miles with 3800' of climb while the Century ride is 100 miles with 9600' of climb.

Nobody? For anybody who hasn't ridden in Santa Barbara, the century route is great. Beaches and mountains galore:
I have no connection with the organizers, but since this is the first year for the SB Century, I'd love to see it succeed so that it continues to be held.
