Might help if you post where in SD you are, distance you would like to ride, and general time of day (morning, afternoon, evening).

Every Friday morning I normally have a small group of guys that leave Point Loma at 6:30 a.m. for a fast paced ride to the top of Mt. Soledad and back.

Every Friday I ride north, south or east from the SW corner of Oceanside. I usually go in the mornings but I'm flexible.
