how steep is chantry flats road ?

in terms of grade % ? i've been doing this climb regularly but i can't find any info that states the % of the climb .

Are you talking about riding from Sierra Madre up to the Chantry Flats trailhead? If so the grade averages 6%...

yes thats what i meant . thanks , i've heard several different things from different people . it doesn't seem to be officially listed anywhere that i can find it .

About 8%. I live next to it so I get lots of climbing practice!

Yes, I believe my computer showed an average of 6 or 7 from Sierra Madre & Santa Anita to the campground (mkadam did the hardest parts imo), and a max of 11 or 12.
