I would love a carpool if anyone is leaving from the OC. PM me. I live in Irvine. I can meet just about anywhere close to Irvine. I can share some gas mullah, funny stories, tune up your bike and get some really really bad for you breakfast drive through.

triplebutted, that is a great timed century. The route is quite hard, Pine Creek is a monster! But is a must do century if you like real hard stuff. Good luck this Saturday.

Hear hear. Good luck!
I just did my first AdventureCorps ride last month and I'm really, really looking forward to this one too.
Sorry I can't really carpool with you Triple; I'm leaving from Carlsbad. I'll be the chubby guy on the black felt and the Hinault/Lemond wannabe colors. (And perhaps I'll get to be #1 again, haha.) See you there hopefully!

Will do. And when I say "Argh! Gasp! Whimper..." I mean "Hey, how's it going, Pine Creek?"

Ooog! Never had to WALK up a hill before, and I was riding a 39-28!
This was the hardest event I've ever done. It was therefore an inopportune time to spend the last three weeks on almost exclusively rollers. It was a real wake-up call for l'Etape next month. I've got some hill training to do and some pounds to drop!
