Lightning P38 just stolen
Hi Folks,
Just had my Lightning P38 recumbent bicycle stolen off a locked bicycle rack on my car, that was sitting in my driveway here in Fremont. I've filed a police report, but since it's so distinctive, I'm hoping you'll help me watch for it.
Bicycle has white frame, yellow handlebar tape, bebop pedals (that require a custom cleated shoe), black bike rack, black mesh seat, small front wheel, standard size rear wheel.
Picture of the same model (different color) is at https://www.lightningbikes.com/p38.htm
Thanks everyone!

This news stinks. Do yourself a favor by going to the police station and file a report. In the meantime, do not post anything else about the bike (until it is recovered) and check on Craigslist, OLX, Backpage and other sites of the sort to see if the bike is posted for sale. You do not want to spoil your chances of busting the thief by letting the world know what is going on. Good luck on getting your bike back.

You might want to list in on the stolen bike forum over on Bent Rider Online https://www.bentrideronline.com as well. Also you can register it on a couple of the online bike registries for free if you've got the serial number recorded somewhere.

If you're going to search CL for it, I suggest using www.searchtempest.com. It will save you a TON of time!
