I prefer rolling my own handbuilt wheels, which turn out to be lighter, stronger, and usually less expensive than their factory made counterparts.
But honestly, I know someone who has a variety of Easton wheels and is quite happy with them.

What Zipps are you comparing...the 101's? The 101 is the only Zipp wheel that comes close to the EA90.
The Eastons are 22gr heavier than the Zipp...

Be careful cervelo4me. Between your aero frame and aero wheels, you have built a potentially dangerous rig. The UCI has banned certain combinations because they are "too aero." What that means is that the speed generated from these bikes can be very dangerous especially when someone such as yourself is hammering away. It's based on the Bernouilli principle that because the combination is so aerodynamic it actually generates lift. Because of that, your wheels begin to lose contact with the road and thus you lose control ending in a potential crash. Just keep that in mind.

Like I said before, he should send all new purchases to me for safety testing first.

I read through this thread and saw the thread title as areos, then I read about oreos and then milk puddles and then now I'm thinking areolas.

Anyway I paid about $650 for carbon reynolds attacks which are lighter and slightly deeper than those Eastons, but that was some sorta blowout sale at performance bike (They weighed in around 1400g). The eastons are probably cheaper right now, and they'll have better braking since they are aluminum rather than carbon.

Not sure what wheels you currently ride, but the EA90 Aeros are likely a worthwhile upgrade unless you are really light (may be too stiff) or a total weight weenie...

Got my EA90 Aeros to go with my Madone 5.2 in NOV2010. I love the wheels! I weigh about 190lbs and immediately noticed an improvement in ride quality and responsiveness. While they aren't a deep sidewall, they certainly pick up more crosswind than standard profile wheels. I got the set on sale for $450 in San Diego, so they were totally worth it. Let my bro ride them on his bike (he has my old RXLs) and he couldn't believe the difference the wheels made.
