I use a Halo - the one that you tie in the back. It works well to keep the sweat out of your eyes. The sweat ends up on your neck and back.

It's worse if you are follicley challenged (like me), as the sweat just rolls down you head.

About the only thing I haven't tried is the Coolmax head sweats stuff, thinking it's counter intuitive to fully cover the head when I'm hot. Nothing that claims to work wonders does and at this point I use plain old cotton bandana's and bring one or two spare for a 2 hr ride at 80. They are useful for cleaning sun glass lenses as well.

I'm bald, and use a white Headsweats cap. It works on keeping the sweat out of my eyes, and it's a little cooler than bare skin when you're moving since the sweat evaporates instead of drips.

It doesn't block UV though, which is why I originally bought it. The top of my head still has tiger stripes from my helmet vents.

I have a halo of the stretchy headband variety. It is not a cap and doesn't involve tying, although it does tend to leave a nice indentation on my forehead for the remainder of the day. Other than that, it works great.

I use a cheap cotton bandana. I sweat a fair amount and I find this works very well. I don't cover my whole head... I roll/fold up the bandana and just tie it around my head.

Halo skullcap here. Ditto on the forehead indentation that lasts a few hours after the ride.

I wear cycling cap. It stays moist and evaporates to keep me cool. Seat just drips off the bill. I like to shorten the bill a little so I don't get a stiff neck or push my helmet back on my head.

I have some old school team headbands, very thick terry cotton / elastine.. They are thick and wide, need some extra room in your helmet for these to fit but work great when the weather gets hot..

On Saturday it was getting warm on the Santiago Canyon Road. That's what does it for me when it comes to sweat. But I only had to change out the material when I got to Cook's Corner.

I have been using one of those super absorbent kitchen paper towels, the ones that come in maybe half perfs. Then at Cook's Corner, I can use that to rinse out the sweat with cold water and wipe my face with it. I fold that towel in half and place it in the helmet in the front where the sweat might drip down to the face and eyes. It works for me.

Halo works for well but since I don't have eyebrows anymore, sweat still drips.

I sweat a lot so I use cotton bandanas for everything but then one year at the Conejo ride I had so much sweat I had to stop and wring it out on a climb. Now I have the Halo skull cap (no ties just elastic) and it works great similar to this https://www.rei.com/product/710873/halo-protex. I haev even filled this up on a hot day on GMR, just ring it out and start over again. I also got a simple skull cap at REI super cheap on the used gear sale, there is no rubber band but it works pretty good to, better then bandana but not as good as the Halo.

I used the stretchy Halo band as well. I don't care that it leaves a line as long as it keeps the sweat out of my eyes and it seems to do that!

I use the standard Halo headband and it works great for me. the sweat ends up running down behind your ears and not in your eyes.

Why do you stop? Just go faster, take your sun glassed off, wipe off sweat, put your shades back on and keep going.

Halo headband here as well. I sweat heavily (my hair is soaked at the end of a 5 mile commute in 65 degree weather) and the Halo works.

Halo headbands. The indentation is like a secret signal.

I also use wide terry/cotton team headbands. I'm always looking for new old stock because they eventually lose their elasticity and stretch out.

For what it's worth, I'm changing my mind on the Halo. I bought mine in October, so this is my first Summer with it, and it's just not getting it done. It's probably okay on the flats with a breeze, but chugging up the mountain roads, which I sometimes do at a stalwart 5 mph, it saturates to maximum capacity. If I apply ANY pressure at all -- like, for instance, looking up -- it squeezes a flood into my eyes. Starting today, I've stopped using it.
