Ride - July 23 - Hollywood to Palos Verdes/ Long Beach Loop
 

Meetup at Los Angeles Community College at 7AM ride at 7:15AM

Ride from Hollywood to Marina Del Rey via the Ballona Creek Bike path
then on to Redondo Beach via the Strand Bike path then to Palos Verdes and down
to Long Beach, finally coming back the LA River Bikeway.

This ride is around 80 miles roundtrip.

I was fighting a bug earlier in the week and it finally got the best of me. Feeling a little better already :-)

Hope u r feeling better. They were doing work on the Culver City part of the BC this past week or 2 and some of the path were closed.

will you ride Esplanade in Redondo??? Id like a copy of this route slip if possible...

Cool... I live on Esplanade and Vista Del Mar and wanted to start figuring out routes from my house... Might be riding with a beginner so I need to find shorter ones as well.

Finally feeling better, thanks for asking. Not sure when the next ride is. Anyone have any ideas or dates in mind??? I really enjoyed the Angeles National Forest ride a few weeks ago. Wouldn't mind doing a repeat one day soon. The Palos Verdes/Long Beach ride may have to wait. Not many people where interested in that ride.

Hi Teal - I'm back from vacation so was thinking about Angeles Crest again Saturday but continuing on to Mt. Wilson. Any interest?

I'll have to pass for this weekend. The cold is gone, but now I have some major aches the last few days in my
lower back and knees. Trying to figure it out. I haven't been on the bike for 5 days :-(

Sorry to hear about your aches and pains....especially in a kid like you! Let me know when you feel better and we can do Angeles Crest again.

Sure thing Chris. I have a big Motorcycle trip I'm preparing for -- Yellowstone N.P. -- and will depart on Aug. 18 for 3 weeks. Once I get back sometime in Sept. I will get in touch with you and we can hit up A.N.F. once again. :-)
