A Little Monday Dirt 1/16

Nice MTB ride on the trail. One loop clockwise then counter clock wise for the climb section. Lots of people out today, guessing plenty had the day off. Lots of friendly people. Funny how easily children are amused when a bike rolls by.

Each direction is about 900 feet within a couple of miles, nice climbs if you've never tried this trail. Now that I have the Garmin, I can see why some sections are so tough. Watching the grade go up, 8%, 9% up to 16% on some sections explains plenty ha ha!

8.5 miles with 1,841 feet of gain. Funny thing about climbing, I really don't notice the dirt that gathers on my water bottles. Last thing on my mind while climbing is how cold my water is or how clean my bottles are, just give me some water! I did wash the bottles right before the ride ha ha!

I missed you, what time were you there? We rode through CWP after Sunset Ridge/Baldy village and Evey/Potato on Monday. It was real real cold that day, felt it through my 5 layers.

I started about 11:30. Part of the reason I was real shocked to see sooooooo many people. Most go early........I thought.

Let me see if I have this right. This new job of yours makes you work 9 million hours a week, and then gives you MLK day off? Sounds to me like you need to set those people straight and tell them you didn't sign up to work Saturdays the rest of your life. Tell them you have a bike that needs to be ridden. And it prefers to be ridden on Saturdays. And Sundays. And any other day that ends in Y. Yaaa. That's it, tell them all that.

Hey Beanz, you should start taking donations for a GoPro HD camera. The quality at 720p is amazing (not my video).

Yeah, I've seen some amazing quality in some GP videos. I've been working so much the money would be no problem for a new GP but I more than likely won't have much time to use it in the near future.
