To All Santa Clarita cyclists:

My name is Dan and I am researching any accidents that have occurred on the curve of the bike path behind the BMW dealership on Valencia Blvd. There is a blind curve there where I had a very bad accident on my recumbent trike back in November 2011. If I can find others who have had similar accidents there I may be able to work with the city to fix what I see as a serious safety issue. Please respond to this posting with any helpful information.

Additionally I would like to discover the identity of the good Samaritan who came to my aid that day. He had a minor crash avoiding me (I was on the path and couldn’t move – broken hip ) but ended up lifting me onto my trike and pushing me up the hill so I could call for help. I wish only to let him know that I am recovering and to express my sincere thanks.
