Tour de Big Bear Century?

Interestingly, they do have century option this year. Who is going to sign up? I think I will if there is no other schedule planned for my family.

How difficult do you think this will be compared to some other big centuries... (the altitude does bring in question of difficulty of course).

After BA this wont be bad at all, besides the elevation it is more like a training ride.

Easy compared to the "Ride Around the Bear;" which is a huge suffer-fest.

Ah, no rooftest . . . Ride Around the Bear is not a suffer-fest at all (certainly not "huge") and in fact is lots easier than the Mullholland Challenge or Breathless Agony and far easier than The Death Ride or the Mt. Shasta double-metric.

I've ridden The Bear ten-plus times and while there are some extended climbs, nothing is steep. Even the climb to Onyx is from the easier side on The Bear.
