Because we have so many ex-Californians?

Hilarious (adj): The fact that the driver of that SUV was cited for impeding traffic.

Amendment 66 on the November ballot in Colorado, if it passes, will officially change the name of the state to Calorado.

What the hell is THIS supposed to mean? (last sentence in the article). !!!

An unidentified motorist who was traveling County Line Road on Wednesday afternoon said cyclists who ride the county road have "a death wish."

I lived there for 3 years and Colorado is the only other state I could live in. No place is perfect, but CA & CO suck much less than TX, AZ, UT, KY, IN, WA and the others I've lived in.

I agree. When I finished school in the midwest, I flipped a coin to determine where to move: Denver or LA. Heads came up for LA.

But you do know that I was joking and made up Amendment 66, right?

The unidentified motorist feels that the road is dangerous for cyclists. Some guy said the same thing to me about Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad. I was waiting for the paramedics to show up so I couldn't argue.

Weird. It's busy, crowded, fast, noisy & unpleasant, but Palomar Airport Road has a nice wide bike lane. Were you taking-a-lane or something?
Or was he just one of those annoying advice givers who try to tell you what you did that caused the accident? (I mislike those "helpful" types somethin' fierce.)

I was innocently riding in the bike lane westbound approaching Loker Avenue West. An HVAC van was stopped in the westbound left turn pocket waiting for the light when he suddenly remembered he needed something at Staples. He cut across the two westbound lanes and headed north on Loker Ave. W. We met in the intersection.

Mr. Helpful was taking a walk through the neighborhood on his lunch break and shared his views with the nice CPD officers, the engine company, the medics and me. Since I'd landed on my right hip and ass, I couldn't kick him in the balls.

I was born and raised in IN, and lived there until 1991.
It was part of a sensory-deprivation experiment.

I know, same here.

3 weeks ago, a SUV starts honking behind me, several times. First I tried to ignore because didn't want this to escalate, until the passenger window levels with me. At this point I was getting really pissed and got ready to give the finger salute when I turn my head to face a friendly smile:
"hey, you dropped something back there!"

Sure enough, I had a tube wedged under the saddle and would have lost it otherwise, thanks lady!

There's little to gain when confronting idiots, I think I would've pull over to let him pass "safely" while waving "BYE AZZ***"!!!
