Are you still in the Marines or did you see the light?

I figured you were with that screen name.

See the light? You had better hope you are not insulting my Corps. Do you have any idea how many Marines have fought and died for this Country? My brothers in the Corps have been fighting for this Country since 1775. Next time you want to exercise your right to freedom of speech and talk smack about my Corps. Do it to my face and face the consequences-David

LOL, relax. If you're at the Tour de Palm Springs we can exchange witticisms there.

It was a strange comment when you consider the post was a Marine looking for fellow Marines to ride with. My guess is it was not meant as an insult but could be easily interpreted as one.

And while I did not serve I know the saying once a Marine always a Marine.

just saying

Seriously, though. If you're looking for people to spend several hours with you maybe work on dulling the tip of that spear a bit.

Thats what she said.

I know a good portion of the cycling community are a bunch of tree hugging hippies(not all, but some). I do not really want to be around them. Also Marines already speak the same language, very easy tomotivate eash other-David

I'm a tree hugging hippy. Thanks for protecting us and the trees. God bless America, including us tree hugging hippies and the trees, oh and including Marines as well.

Yeah, and I wouldn't want a meathead like you around me either. But again thanks again for protecting us all from the evil world outside our borders.

Got this from a friend today..... enjoy it Marine!

Happy Brother's Day

You may have served in Combat or in non-combat.

You may have retired out or you may have served for a short time.

You may have been a draftee or a volunteer.

You may have served in the Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard or the Merchant Marines,

BUT YOU SERVED. YOU DID YOUR JOB HONORABLY and for that I am PROUD to call you Brother.

You may have served during Korea, WWII,. Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Iraq or Afghanistan, But you served, you did not run.

You have a DD 214 with those words "HONORABLY DISCHARGED" two of the most noble words in the world.

Again I am proud to know each and every one of you.

* Today is Band of Brothers' Day* ; send this to all your brothers, fathers, sons and fellow veterans you know. Happy Brothers' Day!

To the cool men that have touched my life: Here's to you!! I was never a hero, but I am thankful and proud to have served among them.

A real Brother walks with you when the rest of the world walks on you.

Send to all your Band of Brothers, because the fake ones won't.

From a Brother, Vietnam 66-67
Phil
