Are Fujis low end frames?
 

I'm talking all carbon and lets say 2800.00 and up with components...I test rode one at a huge bike sale and it felt a little more unstable then say a Felt or a BMC at the same price.The paint jobs were the nicest i have ever seen.Component was Ultegra.Are they more like a Diamondback?Thanks all.

Not sure if trolling but "new" fuji (2008+) has a bunch of high end frames like the Altamira, SST, D6, and Norcom

Fuji has a long standing reputation as a good quality frame builder. They produce a large number of frames under their name and they also private label for other brands.

No, Fuji is legit. What you may have experienced is a different geometry. I don't know the BMC line, but in the Felt, it sounds like you've ridden one/some. If it was a "Z", it may have reacted a little slower or been perceived as more "stable". If you had ridden a "F" model, it may have been more responsive like the Fuji that you rode seemed to be.

It was an f model.I have to say that Felt was really special but about 20% more cost.Listen,I'm told these days that all carbon bikes come from a few factories in Asia and there in simply no difference at all who makes it.I understand clearly that its the components that really make a bike and of course the rider.Im not a racer so i doubt a guy like me would ever know the difference to begin with so i thought i would ask the forum.

Not every brand name seen at retail in the U.S. own a factory that produces carbon fiber frames. These frames are produced by a factory that builds for several brand names. However, this does not result in all carbon fiber frames being the same. Usually, frames are built to a distinct set of features and specifications unique to each model. Often these frames provide an advantage, depending on who will use the bike and how.

I would look at the geometry tables and read up on the reviews and marketing statements on the bikes you are considering.

I have to say that if a bike doesn't feel right to you that it's not worth saving a few hundred dollars. I think it's almost always worth spending 10% more to get something that feels right. It might just be a geometry that isn't quite right for you.
