I really wanted to do this challenge. I don't get back home until Friday, so I'm out. I did the rapha rising challenge; the roundel (patch...lol) is really nice. Good luck!

I am actually ramped up for this one; the hard part is with family in town sneaking away to get the miles in!

sacrificed the first day-yesterday-to finish some errands before work. snuck in a 47 miler today. got the next 2 days off so cautiously optimistic
that i'll be making a sizeable dent in the remaining km's column.

33% done.

Of course I work the next 2 days.. so somewhere I'm going to have to put in a century to finish it.

Got the first 100k done, hoping to get another 100 tomorrow. After that it will be tough as we have tons of family stuff between now and end of month. If I can get the saddle time I will probably shoot for mostly flat rides just to maximize the miles per hour.

agreed. the various challenges have their drawbacks whether they are mileage or vertical feet related. i suppose i enjoy the hours spent on the bike challenges the best
(although my showing in the recent pearl izumi fall forty challenge was underwhelming) since you can ride the terrain you wish for credit. i suppose the main thing is that
any challenge that grabs you and spurs you to ride is a good thing.

It's spurred me to re-re-re-base mile myself... This year has been a cycling train wreck but it's a great way to kick start 2014.

3 days in, 3/8's of the miles done. I hope my butt can keep up.

Planned a century today but the winds were just too crazy in the IE. Two flats and went down on a turn and called it quits. I'm done; got about 120 miles to go and work tomorrow.

Grats Beachgrad!
