Tour de Mesa 2012
This used to be called Tour de Phoenix, but it was renamed in 2011 to reflect where the ride actually takes place.
https://www.visitmesa.com/includes/ev...l&eventid=1215
Highlights:
races: 74 miles (6:30am) , 26 miles (9 am), and 4 mile fun ride (10:30 am), 1/4 mile fun ride (11am)
date: April 14, 2012
start location: Red Mountain Park, Mesa, AZ
hmm this is 2 weeks after the Chandler metric century. I guess I can do both... anyone else in?

Updates to this information....
The long “main event” distance: 70 miles.
Start Time: 6:15 a.m.
The Start/Finish Line has moved to downtown Mesa, AZ on Center Street at 1st Street.
The short “main event” distance: 28 miles.
Start time: 8:15 a.m.
The distance features a “remote” start at a new location: which is almost finalized. It will finish in downtown Mesa, AZ with the other events. If you drove to your start line, you’ll need to plan a way back from the finish line. At present, a shuttle back to the 28-mile start is not arranged, but we’re working on it!
The FUN RIDES: 5 and 1/4 miles.
Start time: 11:00 a.m.
Starting and finishing in downtown Mesa, AZ, these short, fun events are ideal for the new or inexperienced cyclists or those who just want to be part of the fun.
New Finish Line
Downtown Mesa, AZ is the site for the new Finish line on Center Street at 1st Street adjoining The Great Arizona Bicycle Festival (see below).
