PMBC Christmas Lights Rides

It's that time for cool nights and bright lights - both on the houses and on the bikes.

On Friday, December 16th and Monday, December 26th, I will again be leading a Christmas lights ride through Moon Valley and its award-winning displays on behalf of Phoenix Metro Bicycle Club. We'll meet at the shopping center on the northwest corner of 7th Street and Coral Gables (1 mile south of Bell, 1 1/4 miles north of Thunderbird) and start at 6:30 PM sharp on a relaxed family-friendly ride amid the lights, with stops at some of the more impressive displays. Bring a working headlight & taillight (or tell me in advance if you need to borrow one), and dress somewhat warmly (but not too warm). I'll bring the tunes. Should be about 90 minutes of twinkling fun. Optional no-host dinner afterward at one of the eateries in the shopping center (Moon Valley Grill or Barro's Pizza). I've attached a composite photo from the last two rides. This ride got rave reviews in 2020 and 2021 - hope to see you in 2022.

All are welcome. Since this is a PMBC ride, club insurance requires the wearing of a helmet during the ride.

Just a reminder / bump we're rolling out again tonight for the second and final ride at 6:30 PM sharp. The weather looks great - mid 60s to start, mid-50s at finish. If you can make it, hope to see you there!

We're doing it again this year if anyone's interested.

Friday, December 15th and Tuesday, December 26th, rolling out at 6:30 PM sharp from the shopping center on the northwest corner of 7th Street and Coral Gables (1 mile south of Bell, 1 1/4 miles north of Thunderbird) in Phoenix. Don't miss it!
