wheelbuilder.com question

I am attempting to order a wheel set from wheelbuilder.com and the credit card transaction is being denied. I am solid for the credit and I have never had such problems before when ordering online from other businesses. Based on feedback from others, wheelbuilder.com appears to be a reputable business. Anyone else ever have problems with wheelbuilder.com credit card transactions?

I've had several wheels built by them and have been pleased with the wheels and customer service. My experience has been very good.

It's not the retailer that declines your card, it's the bank. Check with your bank about the transaction.

Hello, this is Rich from Wheelbuilder.com. Most declined credit card transactions are fraud protection related and are initiated by your bank. Credit card issuing banks often put stops on larger internet transactions that are not recognized from your normal patterns to protect you from fraud. Not really a big problem and I would be happy to help you with your order by e-mail or phone. We can figure out the CC details pretty easily.

e-mail rich@wheelbuilder.com
phone 626-442-4444

Thank you,
RS

Thanks for the responses. Just got off the phone with Rich. All is good. The problem was with me (my recent card activity threw an fraud trigger…) Wheelbuilder.com has been very responsive, patient and accommodating. I look forward to the custom wheel build and reporting results.

Yeah, I've had that happen.
You just call your bank and say it's really you and then approve it real time.
Bit of a hassle and the big lie is that it's for your protection. No, it's not. It's for the bank's protection. You're already protected by federal law from fraudulent charges.
