FSA SLK-Lite Carbon vs. Gossamer Cranks
are there any folks here who run "FSA SLK-Lite Carbon" ?
if so, are there any takeaways/recommendations worth mentioning ? its my next go-to crank if you like but am skeptical on the benefits it would give when compared to a Gossamer.
thanks

I have an older version of that crankset (SLK light) on my race bike.
It's running with Dura Ace 7900 components smoothly and reliably.
No problems so far. For structural integrity they put the carbon fiber around
some aluminum core. So it's rather a hybrid design then.
Got a good bargain on the SLK, liked the carbon look on my titanium bike
(more than the Aluminum-Ultegra) and would buy it again.
I have no experiences with the Gossamer but that's also a crank that works
perfectly on many bikes...

We have Gossamer crankset on the rear of our Calfee since 2011 and zero problems, have not even had to replace bearings. Its not the lightest or best looking crank but it came in 165mm which is what my stoker needed.
I had SLK on the front originally but hated the wide Q factor so I changed to standard Ultegra cranks with a helicoil on one side to reverse the threads. If you want light and nice looking then check out Lightning cranks, expensive though.
