Tandem Touring Mallorca - Advise Sought
A group of us are heading to Santa Margalida on the island of Mallorca in Spain this coming October. Certainly Mallorca is a cyclist's paradise and there are many things to explore. I'm hoping to find some very specific route information.
We'll be spending the week in a villa and will be doing day rides. We're a bunch of old fa$%$ so we aren't looking to do the major climbs of Mallorca! We are looking for 25-35 mile routes that are interesting and doable for intermediate cyclists. Does anyone have any routes to share or words of wisdom?
Thanks so much!

Cycling UK, cyclist touring club, and looking at CGOAB may be worth doing..
more broadly.. of course everyone has an online link for tourism board, these days
Assume you got the basics ; Part of Spain , etc .. https://www.lonelyplanet.com/spain/mallorca
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majorca
And, see if any Spanish language Cycling clubs, in Spain, will offer you specifics.
Ive always been a show up and ask the locals, when I get there kind of a cycle-tourist.

fietsbob, thanks for the reply. I too like to show up and figure it out. Now with apps like MapMyRide and RideWithGPS and Google Maps you can certainly get good information about possible routes. I'm just hoping someone has local knowledge and is going to tell me about a ride that I'd never find on my own and should never miss.

We will be spending a week in April riding a tandem at the northern end of the island, and can report back. But I spent 4 days cycling the western coastline there 10 years ago on half bikes, and you really can't go wrong. You can pick routes of any difficulty!

What EB said. When we were there in 2001, I was amazed at how well marked the roads are. Excellent signage. We also did our riding on the west coast and it's very hilly to mountainous. Beautiful riding, nice roads.

Just leaving Mallorca. Rode 2 weeks with sportactive.net camp group out of Alcúdia. Depending on the dates they may have a guide that might lead riders for a fee. Stew

Just leaving today after 17 days. Great pavement and nice hill top towns.
