In search of Cannondale Fatty Disc fork

We had a unfortunate interchange with a tree on the MUP last week; utter brain cramp by yours truly. Riders and tree are fine, but fork is not. Snapped the steerer tube with a resounding crack, and inquiries into getting it repaired seem to be dead ends. So my next foray is casting around to see if perhaps someone has upgraded and has a stock fork for sale.
This is a 2004 Cannondale road tandem with 700c wheels and disc brakes. Frame size is L/S, which makes the required steerer length 22 cm. Thanks.

Yep, other than the color, it’s like it never happened. We may address that eventually. For now, it’s “customized.”

Wow - what a great resource that this website can pair someone with a specific need to someone with the exact solution. I think it looks pretty good with the blue fork.

I was pretty astonished to get a reply on the very day I posted my search. That was after being shut down by Cannondale, and being told by a very reputable local builder that he couldn’t repair the old fork, and didn’t know of anyone who could. I also posted on the framebuilders sub forum and the general sentiment there was to source a new fork one way or the other. I figured a posting here couldn’t hurt, but also wasn’t really expecting anything to come of it. So I was pretty psyched to find that PM offer of exactly what I needed, at an extremely fair price. I wouldn’t have cared what color it was.
